It’s a win win scenario for each parties. Apple gets what it needs a lot of publicity; the media gets what it wants an honest selling purpose hence the front page. It’s pure business.Because they acumen to figure them, a way to advertise and the way to take advantage of it. If they sold their product for a less expensive worth kind of like their competition (music devices aside), they’d little doubt overtake them in terms of sales.
